Beijing Photos - Part 1
It's been a while again since I posted anything here. I finally finished editing all my photos from Beijing so it's time to post.:)

It's not SPN related and I haven't got time to do anything fandom stuff, but as the result of the previous poll showed you actually wouldn't mind seeing some photos from me on your f-list :)
I have to warn you guys, that because of my profession, I CAN NOT SEE ANYTHING just buildings, lol. you will see. Sorry about that ;)

Very image heavy.

01.) On the plane, obviously, but the clouds were funny, you guys have to admit :)

02.) Great wall

08.) Forbidden City - House of Worship. The whole building was from wood. Magnificent architecture I'm telling ya.

10.) Forbidden City

26.) Capital Museum - my favorite angle and perspective view from the whole trip :D

28.) The famous Beijing Roast Duck

29.) My last supper. One of the best meals I had in China :)

Part 2 - Details

You can find the whole set on flickr as well. :)

Wow, you take so very gorgeous pictures. Thanks for sharing the pretty.

The Great Wall looks super crowded LOL
Susan: sn - boys - hold on to younyaubaby on September 12th, 2009 02:33 pm (UTC)
Omg, there were so many people, you have no idea. And all Chinese. You would think it's full of tourists, but the one thing you don't expect to be full of CHINESE tourists. So I could hardly get a decent one from the Great wall only with colourful people around. lol

Thanks hun ;)

I love the colours and the angles you capture on your pictures, you have a fantastic eye for detail. Mind if I ask you what camera do you have? The quality of the shots is amazing.

This looks like an awesome trip :) Kind of makes me want to visit.

Oh thanks! I have a Canon 300D. I got it a couple of years ago, but I actually want to sell it and get a newer model. I love mine, but I just think maybe it's time to move on :)

I used to have an analog camera, for like 10 years, and then I got this digital and went nuts :)

Thank you again. I edited them in Photoshop, but only in contrast and colours :)

Thank you! Yeah I'm actually bad with portraits. The first time I did it was with the boys, I'm rather confident with stills and buildings as you see :D

I KNOW! It must have been AWESOME! funny enough I think I wouldn't be able to live there for a long time, but maybe a month wouldn't be so bad :)

Commenting while simultansously looking at the pictures... LOL THE CLOUDS. Is it just me or do they have a very particular shape? Ahahaha. Wow, there are like millions of people on that wall, I bet the view was spectacular.

I absolutely love the colors in the House of Worship, it´s so warm and golden all around. And the architecture is very impressive, I agree, even if I´m absolutely not an expert here ;). Also, whatever the building is in picture 22, it looks pretty awesome. I don´t even want to know how on earth they managed to built that, though, it looks very complex. Wow, at night it´s just beautiful, kind of reminds me of a ship gliding on water. Aw, cute, the building in miniature :D.

On 26: I love that angle as well! Usually I am always bored by people showing me pictures of buildings and landscapes because I'm all "but where are the people????!" but yours are fascinating. On the other side, they obviously don´t have your artistic eye for architecture and photography ;) (like my mum who always manages to cut off other people heads when making pictures, seriously).

Mmmm, the food looks delicious! Now I´m hungry because I didn´t have lunch yet...I think the last picture is one of my favourites from your shots so far, the negative space combined with the colors and the contrast is stunning.
Susan: ♂ » Jared - nyaubaby on September 13th, 2009 08:55 pm (UTC)
You got it right ;) the clouds DID have some undertone :D I loved it!
The view on the wall wasn't that great because one thing in China is really bad and polluted and that's the air. wherever you go the sky is grey and foggy. You don't see further than your nose and I had that's why you don't see any blue sky on my pics, apart from when it was raining. :P

The House of Worship was the building when I stepped in and I started to cry instantly. It was an amazing experience. I felt like something stroked through me and I was paralysed from the sight. It was breathtaking. I was crying the whole time I was inside that building.

Babe, 22 is the bird's nest, the Olympic Stadium for Beijing 2008 :D It was pretty spectacular. The structure is really easy all the concrete straps are just decoration. There are some core columns and beside that the rest is just a pretty cover :)

Aww, thank you!! I'm not comfortable with people. (I know my Asylum pictures are not proving this) Usually I like taking pictures with the least people I can. I always wait on spots to let people just walk past and leave the area empty, lol. I always go with the unexpected stuff because those are the most interesting bits you can tell a story with :)

The last picture is one of my favs too, hence I used as a teaser banner picture ;) It was just gorgeous and it the crop works well too. I'm quite proud of that too :)

You have some truly beautiful shots in both sets!!! The fruit one in Part 2 is one of my favourites, oddly enough, because the colours are so crisp and the fruit just looks so delicious! You have some amazing shots!
Susan: 00 - bite my musenyaubaby on September 13th, 2009 08:56 pm (UTC)
Yay, thanks! That was some really good looking fruits on a stick and covered with sugar coat. I haven't tried because I would fall into a diabetic coma (literally) but it did look amazing :) And I just had to take a picture of it.

Okay... this? Right here? Truly stunning!!! It's such a different culture than we have here, but it's so fascinating to look at.
I think my favorites are def. the night pictures. Truly, truly awesome. The colors, and the light and everything... just awesome.
Susan: Jared - Trampoline ASS!nyaubaby on September 29th, 2009 09:40 am (UTC)
Thank you hun. I spent a good amount of time to make them decent. I mean I just put a little bit of photoshopping on them but I'm quite proud how they turned out. These pictures make me realise how much I love architecture and photography.

I think one of my favs is the bird's nest at night.
Thanks hun! :)
